Shield-Certified
antimicrobial protection.
Hospital-grade chemistry, electrostatic application, and the Shield Certified antimicrobial system. Built for the environments where surface hygiene is part of the operating license.
Disinfection is a discipline, not a product.
Most commercial vendors call a spray-and-wipe routine 'disinfection.' That's not disinfection. Disinfection requires the right chemistry, the right contact time, the right application method, and a verification routine. We deliver all four.
The Shield Certified system extends the half-life of every cycle by adding a persistent antimicrobial coating to high-touch surfaces. Between cycles, the coating continues to neutralize pathogens. The result: cleaner surfaces for longer.
- Shield Certified coatingProprietary antimicrobial coating bonded to high-touch surfaces. Persistent protection between cycles.
- Electrostatic applicationCharged-particle spray covers every surface, including the underside of fixtures. Manual spraying cannot match the coverage.
- Hospital-grade chemistryEPA List N disinfectants, kill-claim verified. The same products used in surgical environments.
- Verified contact timeDwell-time enforcement is part of the protocol. Disinfection without contact time is theatre.
- Touch-point programDoorknobs, light switches, elevator buttons, shared keyboards, and break-room surfaces on a separate higher-frequency cycle.
- ATP verificationOptional adenosine triphosphate testing to verify pathogen reduction in critical zones.
How it works.
Risk assessment
We map the facility's high-risk surfaces and traffic patterns. Disinfection is calibrated to risk, not applied uniformly.
Chemistry selection
Different surfaces and pathogens require different chemistry. We pick per zone.
Application
Electrostatic for broad coverage, manual touch-point disinfection for high-frequency surfaces.
Verification
Visual inspection, ATP testing where appropriate, periodic surface-swab audits.
Why disinfection matters for healthcare, schools, and senior care.
In healthcare, schools, and senior care, surface hygiene is part of the operating license. Pathogen transmission from contaminated surfaces is a documented vector for healthcare-associated infections and seasonal illness outbreaks. Proper disinfection reduces both. The cost of doing it right is a fraction of the cost of getting it wrong.
Disinfection programs available across our full Sacramento Region service area.
How we verify this work.
Every disinfection visit is documented through the SBH App: tasks completed, areas treated, chemistry applied. Photo verification is uploaded before the crew leaves the property. Our quality team reviews every log. If something is flagged, it enters our closed-loop resolution system and doesn't close until it's confirmed corrected.
About disinfection & sanitization.
Shield is a proprietary antimicrobial surface coating that bonds to treated surfaces and continues to neutralize pathogens between cleaning cycles. We are a certified Shield application partner.
Electrostatic sprayers charge the disinfectant particles, which then wrap around surfaces including undersides and complex geometry. Manual spraying covers visible surfaces only.
Yes. We use EPA List N disinfectants and follow CDC-aligned protocols. The chemistry and process are appropriate for medical and surgical environments.
Touch-point disinfection daily. Full electrostatic application weekly or bi-weekly for most environments. Higher frequency for healthcare and education.
